CHAPTER 3 / WALKTHROUGH

Sifu: The Museum walkthrough

Take the exhibition route on your first visit, then choose between the stairway and elevator shortcuts once you have earned their keys. The boss path does not require the Museum's optional collection detours.

Route at a glance: leave the lobby for the first and second floor exhibitions, defeat the third-floor bodyguard for the Museum Keycard, and continue to the fourth floor. Beyond the shrine, vault the railing into the final exhibition. Defeat its two fighters for the Elevator Key, then continue to Kuroki.

Work through the exhibitions

On a first Museum run, start from the lobby and follow the exhibitions through the first and second floors. Continue upward to the third-floor bodyguard. Defeating this enemy gives you the Museum Keycard, which opens the stairway doors. Keep following the route to the fourth floor rather than looking for the elevator shortcut before you have its separate key.

The keycard changes how you can move through the building on a return visit, but it is not the key to the lobby elevator. For now, proceed through the fourth-floor path toward the shrine and final exhibition.

Find the way forward after the fourth-floor shrine

The passage beyond the fourth-floor shrine can look like a dead end. Vault over the railing to enter the rainy final exhibition. Clear the encounters there and defeat the two fighters at its end. They give you the Elevator Key. Continue past the final shrine to reach Kuroki.

If the route seems to stop: return to the area past the fourth-floor shrine and look for the railing you can vault. The Club Code detour and Artist Residence are not required to open the way to the boss.

Choose a shortcut on a later run

The two Museum keys serve different routes. The Museum Keycard comes from the third-floor bodyguard and opens stairway access, letting you skip portions of the exhibitions on a replay. The Elevator Key comes later, from the two fighters in the final exhibition. Once you have it, the elevator near the lobby can take you toward the boss without repeating the exhibition route.

If your aim is to explore, use the longer path to revisit rooms you missed. If your aim is another Kuroki attempt, the elevator is the direct route after you have unlocked it.

Keep collection detours separate from the boss route

A third-floor detour involving the woman examining a mask yields the Club Code and a Detective Board entry. It is an optional stop; return to the fourth-floor path to continue toward Kuroki.

The Artist Residence on the fourth floor is another return-visit goal. Its door needs the Artist’s Key from Jinfeng’s safe in The Tower. That key is distinct from both Museum shortcut keys and opens the optional residence, not the route to Kuroki. You can finish the chapter route without entering it.

Plan the next attempt

For a first clear, follow the exhibitions, secure both Museum keys and reach the boss. On a replay, decide whether you need the stairway for exploration or the elevator for a shorter approach. The final fight has its own two-phase plan.
